Easily administered and scored, the Leiter-R is a totally nonverbal test of intelligence and cognitive abilities. Provides a wealth of vital information - Consists of two nationally standardized batteries: a revision of the original Visualization and Reasoning (VR) domains for measuring IQ and the Attention and Memory (AM) domains, which accurately identify children with ADHD, learning disabilities, or neuropsychological impairments.
- Includes growth scores that measure small but important improvement across time, regardless of age-based standard scores, in children with significant cognitive disabilities.
- Four social-emotional rating scales (examiner, parent, self, and teacher) provide essential information about a child’s activity level, attention, impulse control, and other emotional characteristics that may interact with both test performance and functional performance at home and at school.
- Twenty subtests and numerous composites measure both general intelligence and discrete ability areas.
- Scaled scores, in addition to traditional IQ scores, for each subtest help you identify specific strengths and weaknesses and share information with parents and others.
