This battery of five subtests measures the five areas of assessment mandated by IDEA for the assessment of young children: cognition, communication, social/emotional development, physical development, and adaptive behavior.

• Allows you to obtain information about a child’s abilities through observation, interview of caregivers, and direct assessment.
• Subtests can be administered separately or as a comprehensive battery.
• Can be used to differentiate children who are developing normally from those who are significantly below their peers, determine a child’s specific developmental strengths and weaknesses, document a child’s developmental progress as a consequence of intervention programs, and measure developmental abilities in research studies.
