Score and interpret the BRIEF Parent Form, the BRIEF Teacher Form, the BRIEF-SR, and the BRIEF-P with one software program—the BRIEF-SP. The software provides unlimited scoring and report generation after item responses or scale raw scores are entered into the program.

Choose between a comprehensive Interpretive Report for the clinician; a Feedback Report that can be used to provide a summary of results to parents, teachers, care providers, and/or the youth himself or herself; and/or a Protocol Summary Report that allows for comparison of up to four different administrations of either the BRIEF, BRIEF-SR, or BRIEF-P.
• Powerful scoring and interpretive logic. The BRIEF-SP generates T-score profiles and provides interpretive statements for the BRIEF and BRIEF-SR within the context of the two indexes—Metacognition and Behavioral Regulation—as well as the overarching Global Executive Composite. For the BRIEF-P, the software generates T-score profiles and provides interpretive statements within the context of the three indexes—Inhibitory Self-Control, Flexibility, and Emergent Metacognition—along with the Global Executive Composite.
• Intervention recommendations. An optional feature for the BRIEF and the BRIEF-SR, the software can generate intervention suggestions that include more than 140 ideas for modifications and supports organized by area of executive difficulty and environment (e.g., educational, rehabilitative, therapeutic) for child- and youth-centered intervention methods. An optional IEP/504 section offers possible goals and objectives for school-based programs and an optional ADHD diagnostic classification section is available, based on the youth’s Working Memory and Inhibit scale scores. For the BRIEF-P, more than 100 support and intervention recommendations are suggested based on noted executive function difficulties.
• Easy editing. All reports can be edited easily on-screen to incorporate additional clinical information and modify interpretive statements.
• User-friendly. System functionalities includes program navigational tools, file handling, report editing, Tooltips^®, and data export (for research applications).
